Step preview

  1. Grease the loaf tin with oil and sprinkle with sugar
  2. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  3. Fit max blade to kCook bowl
  4. Add all purpose flour, golden caster sugar, baking powder, lemon, vegetable oil, lemon juice, water and poppy seeds to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 8
  8. Pour batter into loaf pan (900g)
  9. Bake until light golden - 30 min, 200°C
  10. Let cool - 10 min
  11. Transfer onto cooling rack
  12. Add icing sugar and lemon juice to a clean small bowl
  13. Mix until thick
  14. Drizzle cake with icing
  15. Serve
