Currywurst is a traditional German snack. It consists of a sausage (boiled, grilled, smoked) served with a ketchup-like sauce (or sometimes some actual ketchup) and curry powder. For best results, use an Alsatian type of sausage. It is simple and inexpensive to make, and will appeal to everyone. It is traditionally served with chips, but can easily be served with baked potatoes, mashed potatoes or any other starch food. User generated recipes have not been tested by Kenwood.
