Step preview

  1. Attach the Dough Tool
  2. Add all purpose flour, spelt flour, malt powder, active dried yeast, vegetable oil and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 1
  5. Pour water into the Cooking Chef XL Bowl slowly while machine is running
  6. Knead with splashguard fitted - 5 min, Speed 2
  7. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  8. Divide into 8 equal pieces
  9. Roll into an oval shape
  10. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  11. Cover with kitchen towel and let rise - 1 hr
  12. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  13. Remove the kitchen towel from the dough
  14. Slice a cross into the top of rolls
  15. Add water and salt to a clean small bowl
  16. Mix with teaspoon until dissolved
  17. Brush salt water over the rolls
  18. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  19. Bake until golden brown - 15 min, 200°C
  20. Remove from oven and let cool
  21. Serve
