Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease and line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  3. Attach K Beater
  4. Add all purpose flour, granulated sugar, ground ginger, baking powder and baking soda to the Kenwood Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed 1
  6. Then add salted butter to the Kenwood Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until crumbs form - 1 min, Speed 2
  8. Then add egg and molasses to the Kenwood Bowl
  9. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 2
  10. Scoop mixture onto baking tray
  11. Bake until golden brown - 15 min, 180°C
  12. Remove from oven and let cool
  13. Serve
