Step preview

  1. Grease a clean springform pan then set aside
  2. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  3. Attach the Dough Tool
  4. Add all purpose flour, sugar, egg, butter and baking powder to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted - 3 min, Stir 3
  7. Cover a clean work surface with plastic wrap
  8. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to work surface
  9. Wrap with plastic wrap
  10. Place in fridge - 45 min
  11. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  12. Attach the Whisk
  13. Add egg, sugar and quark cheese to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  14. Whisk with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 2
  15. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to medium bowl then set aside
  16. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  17. Attach the Whisk
  18. Add custard powder, sour cream and oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  19. Whisk with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 2
  20. Transfer content of medium bowl to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  21. Whisk with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed 2
  22. Retrieve dough from the fridge and place on a clean work surface
  23. Remove the plastic wrap
  24. Roll out into a circle
  25. Transfer dough to springform pan
  26. Line the springform pan with the rolled-out dough
  27. Add canned mandarins to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  28. Mix by hand using a spatula
  29. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to springform pan
  30. Garnish with the rest of the mandarins
  31. Bake - 50 min, 180°C
  32. Remove and let cool
  33. Add clear cake glaze to a clean medium bowl
  34. Prepare the clear glaze following the instructions on the package
  35. Pour the clear glaze over the cooled cake and set aside until set
  36. Remove the cake from the springform pan once the glaze is completely set
  37. Serve
