Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach K Beater
  3. Add butter and caster sugar to the Kenwood bowl
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until smooth - 2 min, Speed 4
  5. Then add cornflour and all purpose flour to the Kenwood bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 2 min, Speed 2
  7. Then add water to the Kenwood bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed Max
  9. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  10. Roll out until 1 cm thick
  11. Cut into rectangles
  12. Prick an indentation
  13. Transfer biscuits to baking tray
  14. Sprinkle with caster sugar
  15. Chill in fridge - 30 min
  16. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  17. Bake until light golden - 13 min, 180°C
  18. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
  19. Serve
