Step preview

  1. Draw a fox shape on an A4 sheet of paper and cut it along the outline
  2. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper then set aside
  3. Attach K Beater
  4. Add icing sugar, all purpose flour, ground almonds, salt and butter to the kMix Bowl
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted - 3 min, Speed 3
  6. Then add egg to the kMix Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 3
  8. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
  9. Transfer half of content of kMix Bowl to work surface
  10. Cover with another sheet of parchment paper
  11. Roll out the dough between the parchment paper until 3mm thick
  12. Repeat with the other half of the dough
  13. Chill in fridge - 1 hr
  14. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  15. Remove the rolled out dough from the fridge
  16. Cut out the fox shapes with a knife using the template
  17. Bake - 25 min, 160°C
  18. Remove from oven
  19. Transfer onto cooling rack and let cool
  20. Clean Kenwood Bowl
  21. Attach Whisk
  22. Add whipping cream and mascarpone cheese to the kMix Bowl
  23. Whisk with splashguard fitted until stiff - 2 min, Speed 4
  24. Then add maple syrup and vanilla extract to the kMix Bowl
  25. Whisk with splashguard fitted - 10 sec, Speed 1
  26. Transfer content of kMix Bowl to piping bag
  27. Place one biscuit onto a work surface
  28. Pipe the cream onto the biscuit: hold your piping bag vertically to the biscuit, press gently and pipe small pearls
  29. Add orange marmalade to a clean piping bag
  30. Pipe some marmalade in dots onto the cream
  31. Place another biscuit on top, pressing down a little
  32. Following the lines of the fox, use an edible pen to reproduce the features of the fox's face, ears and tail
  33. Add white chocolate to a clean piping bag
  34. Add dark chocolate to a clean piping bag
  35. Add white chocolate and orange food coloring to a clean small bowl
  36. Mix until well combined
  37. Transfer content of small bowl to piping bag
  38. Decorate the fox with the white and orange chocolate, using the dark chocolate to add detail
  39. Serve
