Step preview

  1. Fit extra fine grating disc (1) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  4. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  5. Add butter to the kCook bowl
  6. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  7. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  8. Heat with filler cap fitted - 1 min 15 sec, 80°C
  9. Then add all purpose flour to the kCook bowl
  10. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 110°C, speed 6
  11. Then add milk, egg, salt & pepper and nutmeg to the kCook bowl
  12. Cook with filler cap fitted - 15 min, 98°C, speed 6
  13. Then add crème fraîche to the kCook bowl
  14. Turn direct prep attachment to position 1
  15. Grate gruyère cheese into the kCook bowl with direct prep attachment
  16. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  17. Mix - 30 sec, speed 12
  18. Grease and flour
  19. Transfer cheese mixture to 4 ramekins
  20. Bake until golden brown - 35 min, 180°C
  21. Serve
