Step preview

  1. Add potato to a clean cutting board
  2. Cut into slices, 1cm thick, then into matchsticks, 1cm thick
  3. Transfer potatoes to large glass bowl
  4. Add water to the large glass bowl
  5. Set aside - approx 30 min
  6. Drain the potatoes and let dry on a tea towel
  7. Fit slow cook plug to CookEasy+ bowl
  8. Fit CookEasy+ bowl to CookEasy+
  9. Add oil to the CookEasy+ bowl
  10. Attach lid to CookEasy+ bowl with filler cap fitted
  11. Heat with filler cap fitted - 180°C
  12. Remove lid
  13. Carefully add 300g of potatoes
  14. Replace lid
  15. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 180°C
  16. Turn the potatoes over using a slotted spoon
  17. Cook with filler cap fitted - 5 min, 180°C
  18. Using a slotted spoon, drain them from the oil and place them on paper towels
  19. Season with salt
  20. Repeat with the rest
  21. Serve
