  9. Attach the Whisk
  10. Add butter and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  11. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 3
  12. Then add egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  13. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed 4
  14. Then add strong white bread flour and baking powder to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  15. Attach the Creaming Beater
  16. Mix with splashguard fitted - 30 sec, Speed 2
  17. Mix with splashguard fitted - 40 sec, Speed 3
  18. Transfer content of medium bowl to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  19. Mix with a spatula
  20. Pre-heat oven - 160°C
  21. Grease a clean cake tin
  22. Transfer content of Cooking Chef XL Bowl to cake tin
  23. Bake - 45 min, 160°C
  24. Transfer cake to cooling rack
  25. Making the vanilla syrup
  26. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  27. Attach the Stir Tool
  28. Add sugar, water and vanilla extract to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  29. Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, 100°C
  30. Heat with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 100°C, Stir 1
  31. Brush cake with syrup
  32. Serve
