Step preview

  1. Pre-heat an oven 180°c
  2. Grease both round pans and set aside
  3. Attach the Creaming Beater
  4. Add the ingredients into the EasyWarm bowl
  5. Whisk with the splashguard fitted - 2 min, Speed Max
  6. Evenly divide the batter between the round pans
  7. Bake until a skewer tests clean – 30 min, 180°c
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool
  9. Clean the EasyWarm bowl and attach the Stir Tool
  10. Add the ingredients into the EasyWarm bowl
  11. Heat with splashguard fitted - 7 min, heat setting 9, Speed Min
  12. Transfer to a heatproof bowl to let cool then chill in the fridge
  13. Clean the EasyWarm bowl and attach the Whisk Tool
  14. Add the ingredients into the EasyWarm bowl
  15. Whisk until thickened - 2 min, Speed Max
  16. Transfer to a medium bowl, set aside and continue
  17. Add the ingredients into the EasyWarm bowl
  18. Whisk until thickened - 2 min, Speed Max
  19. Add the ingredients while the machine is running- 30 sec, Speed Max
  20. Transfer to a medium bowl, set aside and continue
  21. Add the ingredients into the EasyWarm bowl
  22. Whisk until thickened - 2 min, Speed Max
  23. Add the colouring while the machine is running- 30 sec, Speed Max
  24. Transfer the creams into 3 separate piping bags fitted with star tips
  25. Retrieve the cooled cake sponges and place the larger sponge cake on a cake stand
  26. Spread the fruit spread over the cake and add a layer of the natural-coloured cream
  27. Cut the smaller sponge in half horizontally and place one half on top
  28. Spread another layer of fruit spread and natural cream over it
  29. Place the second half of the smaller sponge on top
  30. Cover the entire cake with the natural cream, leaving some for decoration
  31. Decorate with the coloured creams, the remains of the natural cream and cherries
  32. Serve
