This recipe for spider doughnuts is perfect for Halloween! Doughnuts are made of a fluffy yeast dough, which is cut into circles and then deep-fried. In line with the Halloween theme, they are loaded with “bloody” raspberry and redcurrant jam. The topping is made from coloured icing and chocolate. Using writing icing makes it easy to draw a spider’s web on them. I also used some edible cake decorations such as knives, skulls, and bats.
