Step preview

  1. Attach Dough Hook
  2. Add strong white bread flour, salt, dried yeast and water to the Kenwood bowl
  3. Mix with splashguard fitted - 5 min, Speed Min
  4. Remove the Dough Hook
  5. Cover with kitchen towel
  6. Prove until doubled - 1 hr
  7. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  8. Gently pull the edges into the centre
  9. Roll over
  10. Shape into a loaf
  11. Place shaped dough on baking tray
  12. Let rest - 30 min
  13. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  14. Place a small oven proof container filled with boiling water to the bottom of the oven
  15. Remove the tea towel and spray the dough with salted water
  16. Bake - 25 min, 220°C
  17. Remove from oven and let cool
  18. Serve
