Step preview

  1. Grease the baking trays with oil
  2. Fit the Dough Tool
  3. Add the ingredients into the warming bowl, fit the splashguard
  4. Mix until combined – 20 seconds, speed Min
  5. Let rest – 5 minutes
  6. Add the next ingredients
  7. Mix – 10 minutes, speed 1
  8. Remove the Dough Tool
  9. Prove – 1 hour, heat setting 2
  10. Add butter into a small saucepan
  11. Heat until melted, then remove from the heat – medium heat
  12. Add the next ingredients
  13. Stir until combined, then set aside
  14. Transfer the proved dough onto a lightly floured worksurface and flatten carefully with your wrist
  15. Pull the edges into the centre, and turn the dough over
  16. Cut the dough into four pieces
  17. Roll each piece of dough into an oval shape about 30 cm in length, until they no longer spring back
  18. Transfer the shaped dough onto the prepared baking trays
  19. Cover with foil and allow to prove until puffy – 30 minutes
  20. Preheat the oven to 230ºC
  21. Retrieve the dough and remove foil
  22. Brush the dough liberally with the three quarters of the garlic butter
  23. Bake – 5 minutes, 230ºC
  24. Remove from the oven and brush with the remaining garlic butter
  25. Bake until golden and they start bubble – about 5 minutes, 230ºC
  26. Remove from the oven
  27. Serve
