Step preview

  1. Grease a large, mixing bowl
  2. Fit the Dough Tool
  3. Add the ingredients into a medium saucepan
  4. Heat over a medium-high heat, stirring occasionally, until butter has melted
  5. Pour the milk mixture from the saucepan into the appliance bowl
  6. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  7. Mix - 2 minutes, speed Min
  8. Mix - 8 minutes, speed 1
  9. Place the dough into the greased large mixing bowl and cover with a damp tea towel
  10. Prove until doubled in size – 1 hour 30 minutes
  11. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the K-Beater
  12. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  13. Mix until combined - 1 minute, speed 2
  14. Transfer the cinnamon butter into a small bowl
  15. Place the proved dough onto a lightly floured work surface and flatten slightly
  16. Bring the left side over the right side, then fold the right side over the left side
  17. Roll out the dough and shape into a ball
  18. Cover the dough with a tea towel and let rest – 10-20 minutes
  19. Grease a medium baking tray
  20. Roll the dough into a rectangle until 5mm thick
  21. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough
  22. Roll into a log, starting from the long side
  23. Divide the dough into 12 equal pieces
  24. Place the buns on the prepared baking tray, spiral side up and space them apart evenly
  25. Cover the baking tray with a damp tea towel
  26. Prove – 30 minutes
  27. Preheat the oven - 180ºC
  28. Place the baking tray in the oven
  29. Bake – 25 minutes, 180ºC
  30. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin
  31. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Creaming Beater
  32. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  33. Mix - 20 seconds, speed 3
  34. Spread the frosting over the slightly warm buns
  35. Serve
