Made with only six ingredients, this matcha nama chocolate is a popular sweet snack in Japan and is flavoured with matcha and vanilla. The vibrant green ganache is quick and simple to make, then simply set in the fridge, dust with more matcha powder, and enjoy. Keep the chocolate refrigerated for up to five days.

  1. Line a square tin with parchment paper
  2. Add the ingredients into a medium bowl
  3. Mix until well combined
  4. Fit the Creaming Beater
  5. Add chocolate into the warming bowl, fit the splashguard
  6. Heat until melted – 10 minutes, heat setting 7, speed Stir 1
  7. Remove the Creaming Beater, fit the Whisk Tool
  8. Add the content of medium bowl into the warming bowl
  9. Mix and then scrape the bowl with a spatula – 1 minute, speed 1
  10. Mix – 1 minute, speed 1
  11. Then add the next ingredients
  12. Mix until thickened – 2 minutes, speed Min
  13. Pour the mixture into the tin and tap on the work surface to remove air bubbles
  14. Chill in the fridge – 2 hours
  15. Cut the chilled chocolate into 2.5 cm (1”) squares
  16. Using a fine mash sieve, sprinkle matcha powder over the chocolate evenly
  17. Serve
