Hotdogs are immensely popular in Korea, brought over by American soldiers in the Korean war, and many different varieties are sold by street vendors. Typically served whole on a stick, gamja hotdogs are like a corndog but can be filled with cheese, coated in potato chunks, or even covered in sugar for a sweet-savoury snack. This recipe adapts the traditional street food to create a great home-made version, perfect for parties or watching sports games.
