A classic chocolate chip cookie recipe which you can adapt depending on what you want to put in them, the cookie dough will keep in the fridge for a few days so you can bake a batch whenever you like, or it can be frozen. These cookies are best served slightly warm.

  1. Fit the Creaming Beater
  2. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  3. Mix until combined – 2 minutes, speed 4
  4. Then add the next ingredients
  5. Mix until combined – 30 seconds, speed 3
  6. Wrap the dough in plastic wrap and roll into a log
  7. Chill in the fridge – 1 hour
  8. Preheat the oven – 170ºC
  9. Line two baking trays with parchment paper
  10. Slice the dough into 1 cm discs and place them on the baking trays
  11. Top with the remaining chocolate chips
  12. Bake until lightly golden – 10-12 minutes, 170ºC
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly
  14. Serve
