Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 190°C
  2. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  3. Add all purpose flour and unsalted butter to the kCook bowl
  4. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  5. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  6. Blend with filler cap removed - 20 sec, speed 12
  7. Then add icing sugar to the kCook bowl
  8. Add egg and water to the kCook bowl
  9. Blend with filler cap removed and continue - 2 min, speed 6
  10. Transfer content of kCook bowl to medium bowl
  11. Chill in fridge - approx 20 min
  12. Clean kCook bowl
  13. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  14. Add cherries, kirsch and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  15. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  16. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  17. Stir with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 6
  18. Turn out pastry onto lightly floured surface
  19. Roll out into a circle
  20. Transfer pastry to baking sheet
  21. Sprinkle with durum semolina flour
  22. Transfer content of kCook bowl to baking sheet
  23. Fold
  24. Brush with egg white
  25. Sprinkle with demerara sugar
  26. Bake - 35 min, 190°C
  27. Let cool onto cooling rack
  28. Serve
