Step preview

  1. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  2. Grease a clean round pan then set aside
  3. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  4. Add stout and unsalted butter to the kCook bowl
  5. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  6. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  7. Cook with filler cap removed - 5 min, 60°C, speed 3
  8. Then add cocoa powder and caster sugar to the kCook bowl
  9. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 7
  10. Then add sour cream, egg and vanilla extract to the kCook bowl
  11. Mix with filler cap fitted then scrape bowl - 1 min, speed 7
  12. Then add all purpose flour and baking soda to the kCook bowl
  13. Mix with filler cap fitted then scrape bowl - 1 min, speed 7
  14. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 7
  15. Transfer content of kCook bowl to round pan
  16. Bake - 1 hr, 180°C
  17. Let cool
  18. Turn out cake onto serving plate
  19. Clean kCook bowl
  20. Fit whisk tool to kCook bowl
  21. Add cream cheese, icing sugar and double cream to the kCook bowl
  22. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  23. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  24. Whisk with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 8
  25. Spoon content of kCook bowl into serving plate
  26. Serve
