Doughnuts dusted in icing sugar. You can divide the dough, so you have bigger or smaller doughnuts but make sure to change the frying time accordingly.

Ingredients

- Unsalted butter
- 70 g

- 250 ml

- Dried yeast
- 7 g

- Plain flour
- 500 g

- 1 pinch

- 80 g

- Icing sugar

Step preview
- Attach the Dough Tool
- Add milk, dried yeast and unsalted butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
- Mix with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 30°C, Stir 1
- Then add plain flour, salt, sugar and egg to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
- Mix with splashguard fitted - 10 min, Speed 1
- Remove the Dough Tool
- Prove with splashguard fitted - 1 hr, 30°C, Speed OFF
- Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
- Divide into 12 equal pieces
- Roll the dough into balls
- Flatten the dough balls slightly
- Let rest - 15 min
- Line a clean plate with paper towels then set aside
- Add oil to a clean frying pan
- Heat in frying pan - 180°C
- Transfer dough balls to frying pan bit by bit
- Cook each side in frying pan until golden brown - approx 3 min
- Transfer dough balls to plate
- Dust with icing sugar
- Serve
