Step preview

  1. Attach the Whisk
  2. Add egg yolk, egg, sugar and vanilla extract to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until light and fluffy - 8 min, Speed Max
  5. Add sugar, matcha powder, milk, thickened cream and salt to a clean saucepan
  6. Whisk until smooth
  7. Heat until boiling
  8. Fill a clean large roasting dish with water
  9. Place the saucepan into water filled dish
  10. Let milk mixture cool in the water bath until its temperature falls below 60 °C
  11. Transfer content of saucepan to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  12. Attach the Creaming Beater
  13. Mix - 2 min, 80°C, Speed Min
  14. Transfer mixture to an ice cream maker and follow the machines instructions for preparation
  15. Place in freezer - 2 hr
  16. Serve
