Step preview

  1. Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Attach Dough Hook
  3. Add water and instant dried yeast to the Kenwood Bowl
  4. Let rest until dissolved - 5 min
  5. Add olive oil, salt and plain flour to the Kenwood Bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until dough forms - 10 min, Speed 2
  7. Remove the Mixer bowl from the machine
  8. Cover with kitchen towel
  9. Prove - 1 hr 30 min
  10. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  11. Divide into 4 equal pieces
  12. Cover with kitchen towel
  13. Prove - 30 min
  14. Pre-heat oven - 220°C
  15. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
  16. Retrieve the dough and place one piece on the prepared parchment paper
  17. Roll out into rectangles
  18. Carefully pull out the dough to stretch it thinly
  19. Repeat this action with the rest of the dough pieces
  20. Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
  21. Brush with olive oil
  22. Sprinkle with sesame seeds
  23. Bake until golden brown - 20 min, 220°C
  24. Remove from oven
  25. Turn out onto cooling rack and let cool
  26. Serve
