Step preview

  1. Add plain flour, ground nutmeg, salt, black pepper and beef filet to a clean bowl
  2. Mix until coated then set aside
  3. Attach the Stir Tool and Stir Assist Clip
  4. Add olive oil to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  5. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  6. Heat with splashguard fitted - 1 min, 110°C, Speed OFF
  7. Transfer beef to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  8. Cook with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 140°C, Speed Min
  9. Then add carrot, shallot, tomato and garlic clove to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  10. Cook with splashguard fitted - 3 min, 140°C, Stir 2
  11. Then add lemon, beef stock, red wine, fresh thyme and chestnuts to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  12. Cook with splashguard fitted - 1 hr 50 min, 98°C, Stir 2
  13. Add cornflour and water to a clean small bowl
  14. Mix until combined
  15. Transfer cornflour mixture to Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  16. Cook with splashguard fitted - 10 min, 98°C, Stir 2
  17. Serve
