Delicious sausages made with the Food Mincer attachment. These sausages are also particularly tasty when barbecued. Use a small sausage nozzle to make cocktail sausages. You need sausage casings to make this recipe.

Step preview

  1. Attach the Food Mincer attachment and fit the coarse screen
  2. Place the Kenwood Bowl underneath the attachment
  3. Add beef shank to the Food Mincer attachment
  4. Using the pusher, gently push the food down the feed tube
  5. Remove the attachment from the machine
  6. Attach K Beater
  7. Add salt, black pepper, mixed dried herbs, egg and fresh breadcrumbs to the Kenwood Bowl
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed Min
  9. Attach the Food Mincer attachment and fit the large sausage nozzle
  10. Start the machine on speed 1
  11. Transfer meat to Food Mincer attachment
  12. Using the pusher, gently push the food down the feed tube
  13. Once all the filling has been used, twist the casing to make individual sausages
  14. Remove the attachment from the machine
  15. Heat a clean frying pan - medium-high heat
  16. Add oil to the frying pan
  17. Heat until hot - medium-high heat
  18. Add the sausages into the frying pan
  19. Fry until browned - 15 min
  20. Serve
