Step preview
- Fit the K-Beater
- Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
- Mix until well combined - 2 minutes, speed 3
- Divide the dough into 2 pieces
- Place one half of dough onto parchment paper and place another piece of paper on top
- Roll out until 5mm thick
- Freeze - 20 minutes
- Add black garlic to the second piece of dough
- Knead by hand until well combined
- Place the black dough onto parchment paper and place another piece of paper on top
- Roll out until 5mm thick
- Freeze - 20 minutes
- Preheat an oven to 170ºC
- Grease a baking tray and line with parchment paper
- Retrieve both coloured doughs from the freezer
- Using a large heart cutter, cut out hearts from both coloured doughs
- Place the dough onto the baking trays
- Using a small heart cutter, cut out a heart in the centre of each large heart
- Swap the small hearts between the larger hearts, alternating colours
- Using a skewer, make a hole at the top of the heart to later thread string through
- Bake - 15 minutes, 170°C
- Remove from the oven and let cool completely
- Thread string through each heart and add either a gift tag or hang on a Christmas Tree
- Serve
