Originating from China, Wontons have also become popular in other East and Southeast Asian cuisines.These Crispy Fried Wontons are packed with juicy pork and prawn, inside crispy coating. These crispy bites are super addictive and taste delicious! You can make these ahead and fry it just before serving. Step preview

  1. Attach the K-Beater
  2. Add pork mince, king prawn, spring onion, water chestnuts, shiitake mushrooms, light soy sauce, water, cornflour, sesame oil, ground white pepper, granulated sugar and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  3. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  4. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed 1
  5. Place wonton wrappers on a clean work surface
  6. Spoon 1 tsp of filling into the centre of each wrapper
  7. Dip your finger into a bowl of water and moisten the edges of the wrapper
  8. Fold the wrapper in half and press down to seal
  9. Flip the dumpling over and dab a little water on the two outer points
  10. Bring them together and press down to seal
  11. Add vegetable oil to a clean large saucepan
  12. Heat - medium-high heat
  13. Transfer dumplings to large saucepan
  14. Fry until golden brown - 4 min
  15. Serve with sweet chili sauce
