A simple granola recipe to enjoy for breakfast or as a topping. Once made it can be stored in an airtight container to keep it for a long time. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Ingredients

- Hazelnuts
- 70 g

- Coconut oil
- 35 g

- Runny honey
- 50 g

- Rolled oats
- 110 g

- Unsweetened cocoa powder
- 3 tablespoons

- Chia seeds
- 1 tablespoon

- Vanilla bean seeds
- 1

- Oat bran
- 30 g

- Fleur de sel
- 1 pinch

- Chocolate chips

Food processor attachment

Baking tray - large
Step preview
- Preheat an oven to 160ºC
- Add nuts onto a large baking tray
- Roast - 15 minutes, 160ºC
- Remove from the oven and let cool slightly
- Reduce the oven temperature - 150ºC
- Fit the blade to the Food Processor attachment
- Transfer the nuts into the attachment
- Pulse until coarsely chopped
- Remove the attachment from the machine and set aside
- Fit the Stir Tool
- Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
- Heat until melted - 2 minutes, 100ºC, speed Stir 1
- Remove the Stir Tool and fit the K-Beater
- Transfer the chopped nuts then add the next ingredients
- Mix until combined - 1 minute, speed 3
- Line a baking tray with parchment paper
- Transfer the granola mixture onto the tray and spread evenly
- Bake - 25 minutes, 150ºC
- Remove from the oven
- Then add chocolate
- Mix until melted and then let cool completely
- Break up into small pieces and store in an airtight container
- Serve
