This recipe is a spicier version of the delicious Middle Eastern dip, with the addition of Korean gochujang, a fermented chilli paste which gives it an extra kick for those who like a bit of extra spice in their life.

Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven - 220ºC
  2. Pierce each aubergine twice to allow the steam to escape in the oven
  3. Place on a baking tray and bake, turning halfway through – 40 minutes, 220ºC
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool – 10 minutes
  5. Fit the K-Beater
  6. Split two aubergines in half and scoop the flesh into the appliance bowl
  7. Finely chop the third aubergine, including the skin and add into the appliance bowl
  8. Then add the next ingredients
  9. Mix until well combined – 4 minutes, speed Min
  10. Transfer the mixture into a serving bowl
  11. Cut flatbreads into triangles
  12. Serve
