Step preview

  1. Line the baking tray with parchment paper
  2. Fit the K Beater
  3. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Mix – 2 minutes, speed 2
  5. Add the next ingredients
  6. Mix – 2 minutes, speed 2
  7. Cover the dough with plastic wrap
  8. Chill in the fridge – 30 minutes
  9. Preheat the oven - 160ºC
  10. Remove the chilled dough form the fridge and roll out to 5 mm thickness
  11. Using a 4 cm fluted cutter, cut out circles and place them spaced apart onto prepared baking tray
  12. Bake until the edges are slightly brown – 15 minutes, 160ºC
  13. Remove form the oven and allow to cool completely
  14. Line the baking tray with parchment paper
  15. Dip half of each shortbread cookie in melted chocolate
  16. Place coated cookies onto prepared baking tray
  17. Chill in the fridge until set – 15 minutes
  18. Serve
