A quick five ingredient orzo dish using tinned cherry tomatoes, basil pesto and halloumi, add seasoning to your taste and as an optional extra dried or fresh herb could also be added.

Step preview

  1. Coarsely chop 1/3 of halloumi and cut the rest into 2 cm squares
  2. Fit the Stir Tool
  3. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  4. Then add the coarsely chopped halloumi and fit the splashguard
  5. Cook until combined - 10 minutes, 105ºC, speed Stir 2
  6. Cook until orzo reaches your desired tenderness - 12 minutes, 98ºC, speed Stir 3
  7. Season to taste if needed
  8. Preheat a frying pan – high heat
  9. Add the remaining halloumi pieces onto the frying pan
  10. Dry fry until golden – high heat
  11. Add the prepared orzo into serving bowls and top with the dried halloumi
  12. Serve
