Step preview

  1. Fit the Coarse grating disc to the Food Processor attachment
  2. Grate tomatoes into the attachment – speed 1
  3. Strain the grated tomatoes into a colander
  4. Then add the next ingredients and stir to combine
  5. Let drain – 30 minutes
  6. Grate onion into the attachment – speed 1
  7. Transfer the grated onion into the appliance bowl
  8. Then add the drained tomatoes
  9. Fit the K-Beater
  10. Then add the next ingredients
  11. Mix until just combined – 30 seconds, speed Min
  12. Then add the next ingredients
  13. Mix until just combined – 30 seconds, speed Min
  14. Chill in the fridge – 30 minutes
  15. Line a plate with paper towels
  16. Add oil into a frying pan, enough to cover the base
  17. Heat until hot – medium hot
  18. Dip a dessert spoon in water and add spoonfuls of the tomato mixture into the pan, spacing them apart
  19. Fry until golden brown – 2 minutes, medium heat
  20. Flip over and fry on the other side until golden brown and cooked through – 3 minutes, medium heat
  21. Transfer the fritters onto the plate
  22. Repeat the same process with the remaining mixture, adding more oil into the frying pan, if needed
  23. Serve
