Step preview

  1. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl and stir to combine
  2. Let rest – 5 minutes
  3. Fit the Dough Tool
  4. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  5. Knead until a dough has formed – 10 minutes, speed 1
  6. Transfer the dough into a clean bowl and cover with a tea towel
  7. Prove until doubled in size – 1 hour
  8. Lightly oil a clean work surface
  9. Remove the dough from the appliance bowl and gently press down with your fists to remove the air
  10. Divide the dough into six equal pieces
  11. Form each piece into a ball and cover with a tea towel
  12. Let rest – 15 minutes
  13. Roll out the dough balls into 20 cm circles
  14. Press your fingers into one side of the dough to create small dimples over the surface
  15. Preheat a frying pan – medium heat
  16. Add one pita to the frying pan
  17. Cook on both sides until golden and cooked through – 3 minutes, medium heat
  18. Wrap the pita in a clean tea towel to keep warm
  19. Repeat the same process with the remaining pitas
  20. Serve
