These vegan cinnamon rolls are a plant-based twist on the classic favourite, and it only requires eight ingredients to make. This delicious blend of cinnamon and sugar within a soft baked dough, and finished with a luscious, sweet icing, makes this the perfect plant-based treat for any occasion.

Step preview

  1. Add the ingredients into a jug and mix to combine
  2. Let rest - 10 minutes
  3. Grease a large bowl and set aside
  4. Fit the Dough Tool
  5. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  6. Then add the yeast mixture slowly while the machine is running
  7. Knead until combined - 2 minutes, speed Min
  8. Knead until the dough has formed - 5 minutes, speed Min
  9. Place the dough into the greased bowl and cover with a damp cloth
  10. Prove until doubled in size - 1 hour
  11. Grease a tin and line with parchment paper
  12. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface and gently knock back
  13. Roll out the dough into a 30 cm x 35 cm rectangle
  14. Brush the dough with melted butter
  15. Then sprinkle with the next ingredients
  16. Starting from the bottom, roll the dough into a tight log
  17. Using a serrated knife, cut the dough into 12 equal pieces
  18. Place the cinnamon rolls into the tin and cover with a damp cloth
  19. Prove until doubled in size - 1 hour
  20. Preheat the oven - 175ºC
  21. Place the cinnamon rolls in the oven
  22. Bake until golden brown - 25 minutes, 175ºC
  23. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly - 10 minutes
  24. Add the ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine
  25. Drizzle the cinnamon rolls with the icing
  26. Serve
