Simple, easy to make dinner rolls. We have split the dough into 12 rolls to make smaller rolls, but if you would like larger rolls divide the dough into 6.

Step preview

  1. Fit the Dough Tool
  2. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl
  3. Knead until the dough has formed - about 6 minutes, speed Min
  4. Remove the bowl from the machine and cover with a tea towel
  5. Prove until doubled in size - 1 hour
  6. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  7. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured surface
  8. Divide the dough in 12 equal pieces
  9. Take one piece and gently pull the edges into the centre
  10. Turn the dough over and shape into a ball
  11. Repeat the same process with the remaining dough pieces
  12. Place the dough balls on the prepared baking tray and space them apart evenly
  13. Cover the dough with a damp tea towel
  14. Prove until doubled in size - 30 minutes
  15. Preheat the oven - 190ºC
  16. Brush the dough balls with beaten egg
  17. Bake until golden brown - 20 minutes, 190ºC
  18. Remove from the oven and let cool
  19. Serve
