This recipe requires no yeast and no lengthy proving time to make quick and delicious flatbreads which are cooked on a griddle pan. To add flavour, you could add a handful of black onion seeds into the recipe or brush the cooked flatbreads with melted garlic and herb butter.

Step preview

  1. Fit the Knife blade (or Max blade for kCook Multi)
  2. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, attach the lid without the filler cap
  3. Knead until the dough has formed - 2 minutes, speed 7
  4. Transfer the dough to a lightly floured work surface
  5. Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces
  6. Roll out each piece into an oval until 5 mm thick
  7. Brush a griddle pan with oil
  8. Heat until hot - medium-high heat
  9. Place two of the dough pieces onto the hot pan
  10. Cook until bubbles begin to form and griddle marks appear - about 7 minutes
  11. Flip and cook the other side - about 5 minutes
  12. Repeat the same process with the remaining flatbreads
  13. Serve warm
