These glazed, spicy and smoky nuts make a great edible gift, or, if you cannot bear to give them away, the perfect snack to have with drinks or as part of a grazing board. This recipe is very flexible and will work perfectly with any kind of nuts you have on hand, so feel free to adjust to suit your personal preferences. Keeps for up to 3 weeks in an airtight container.

Step preview

  1. Preheat the oven - 160ºC
  2. Fit the Whisk Tool
  3. Add egg white into the appliance bowl
  4. Whisk until slightly thickened - 3 minutes, speed 5
  5. Then add the next ingredients
  6. Whisk until combined - 1 minute, speed 2
  7. Remove the bowl from the machine
  8. Then add nuts and mix with a spatula until completely coated
  9. Transfer the nut mixture onto a baking tray
  10. Bake until golden - 15 minutes, 160ºC
  11. Remove from the oven and stir the nut mixture
  12. Bake until deeply golden - 7 minutes, 160ºC
  13. Remove from the oven and let cool completely
  14. Serve
