Step preview

  1. Fit midi blade to kCook bowl
  2. Add fresh yeast and milk to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Heat with filler cap fitted - 7 min, 38°C, speed 1
  6. Then add plain flour, butter, sugar, water, egg and salt to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 3 min, speed 10
  8. Then add chocolate chips to the kCook bowl
  9. Mix with filler cap removed - 1 min, speed 10
  10. Remove midi blade from kCook bowl
  11. Heat with filler cap fitted - 1 hr 30 min, 30°C
  12. Turn out dough onto lightly floured surface
  13. Divide into 2 equal pieces
  14. Shape into a baguette
  15. Score
  16. Transfer shaped dough to baking sheet
  17. Cover with kitchen towel
  18. Prove - 1 hr
  19. Add egg and milk to a clean small bowl
  20. Mix until combined
  21. Brush the egg wash over each baguette.
  22. Place a bowl of water at the bottom of the oven.
  23. Bake - 15 min, 200°C
  24. Serve
