- 1 tablespoon

Step preview
- Attach Dough Hook
- Add milk, quick-rise yeast, plain flour, sugar, egg, crème fraîche, orange blossom water, vanilla extract and salt to the Kenwood Bowl
- Knead with splashguard fitted - 5 min, Speed 1
- Then add butter to the Kenwood Bowl
- Knead with splashguard fitted until elastic - 5 min, Speed 1
- Remove the bowl from the machine
- Cover with plastic wrap
- Chill in fridge - 1 hr
- Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
- Fold the dough in 2 several times
- Transfer dough to Kenwood Bowl
- Cover with plastic wrap
- Prove - 3 hr
- Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
- Divide into 2 equal pieces
- Roll out into logs
- Cover with kitchen towel
- Prove - 2 hr
- Pre-heat oven - 180°C
- Transfer shaped dough to baking tray
- Brush with milk
- Cut the brioches with a sharp knife along their length
- Bake - 35 min, 160°C
- Let cool onto cooling rack
- Serve
