An impressive, but simple dessert, serve with raspberries and an extra sprinkling of matcha. You can either serve in the container or turn out onto a plate – make sure you oil the container if you wish to do this.

Step preview

  1. Grease 6 clean Dariole moulds
  2. Attach the Creaming Beater
  3. Add matcha powder and whole milk to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed Min
  6. Then add whole milk and gelatine to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Cook with splashguard fitted until dissolved - 2 min, 90°C, Stir 1
  8. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed Max
  9. Transfer mixture to jug then set aside
  10. Clean Cooking Chef bowl
  11. Attach the Creaming Beater
  12. Add whipping cream and caster sugar to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  13. Cook with splashguard fitted until sugar has dissolved - 3 min, 90°C, Stir 1
  14. Pour content of jug into Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  15. Mix with splashguard fitted until thick - 3 min, Speed Min
  16. Pour mixture into 6 Dariole moulds and let cool
  17. Chill overnight in fridge
  18. Serve
