This Asian inspired salad is perfect for a barbecue.

Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment

  4. Slice cucumber and spring onion into a clean large mixing bowl with direct prep attachment
  5. Fit extra fine grating disc (1) to direct prep attachment
  6. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  7. Grate carrot into the salad with direct prep attachment
  8. Add sesame oil, ginger puree, dark soy sauce, rice vinegar, salt & pepper, coriander and chilli flakes to a clean small bowl
  9. Stir
  10. Transfer content of small bowl to salad
  11. Add sesame seeds to the salad
  12. Serve
