Step preview

  1. Grease a clean round tin then set aside
  2. Attach the Dough Tool
  3. Add milk and dried yeast to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  4. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  5. Heat with splashguard fitted - 5 min, 30°C, Speed 1
  6. Then add plain flour, sugar, egg, ground cinnamon and salt to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
  7. Mix with splashguard fitted until dough forms - 10 min, Speed 1
  8. Add butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl gradually while machine is running
  9. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 30 sec, Speed 1
  10. Remove the Dough Tool
  11. Prove with splashguard fitted until doubled in size - 1 hr, 30°C, Speed OFF
  12. Transfer dough to lightly floured surface
  13. Roll out into a rectangle
  14. Spread with chocolate spread
  15. Roll into a log
  16. Slice into rounds
  17. Transfer shaped dough to round tin
  18. Cover with kitchen towel
  19. Prove until doubled in size - 1 hr
  20. Brush with milk
  21. Pre-heat oven - 180°C
  22. Bake until golden brown - 30 min, 180°C
  23. Remove from oven and let cool
  24. Serve
