This recipe uses the steamer tray attachment to steam the cod with sliced carrots, shallots and a sprinkle of cumin, wrapped in paper to form a parcel. This is a simple and healthy way to cook which allows flavour to gently infuse into the fish.

Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  4. Slice carrot and shallot into a clean large mixing bowl with direct prep attachment
  5. Line the steamer tray with parchment paper
  6. Add cod fillet, ground cumin, olive oil, salt & pepper and fresh parsley to the steamer tray
  7. Transfer vegetables to steamer tray
  8. Wrap with parchment paper
  9. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  10. Add water to the kCook bowl up to the 1 litre mark
  11. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  12. Steam with filler cap removed - 20 min, 104°C
  13. Serve
