This recipe uses the steamer tray attachment to steam the cod with sliced carrots, shallots and a sprinkle of cumin, wrapped in paper to form a parcel. This is a simple and healthy way to cook which allows flavour to gently infuse into the fish.

Step preview

  1. Fit thick slicing disc (5) to direct prep attachment
  2. Fit direct prep attachment to kCook Multi
  3. Turn direct prep attachment to position 2
  4. Slice carrot and shallot into a clean large mixing bowl with direct prep attachment
  5. Line a clean work surface with parchment paper
  6. Add cod fillet to the work surface
  7. Add olive oil, ground cumin, salt & pepper and fresh parsley to the work surface
  8. Transfer vegetables to parchment paper
  9. Fold the paper tightly around the ingredients to seal
  10. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  11. Add water to the kCook bowl up to the 1 litre mark
  12. Transfer parcels to steamer tray
  13. Attach lid to kCook bowl
  14. Steam with filler cap removed - 20 min, 104°C
  15. Serve
