Great little cakes that take their name from gold bars and is the reason they are always rectangle in shape. Don't worry if you don't have rectangle moulds they work just as well in circular shapes.

Step preview

  1. Fit stir tool to kCook bowl
  2. Add almond flour, caster sugar, plain flour and baking powder to the kCook bowl
  3. Fit kCook bowl to kCook Multi
  4. Attach lid to kCook bowl with filler cap fitted
  5. Mix with filler cap fitted - 30 sec, speed 6
  6. Then add egg white to the kCook bowl
  7. Mix with filler cap fitted - 1 min, speed 6
  8. Then add salted butter to the kCook bowl
  9. Mix with filler cap fitted - 2 min, speed 6
  10. Let rest - 1 hr
  11. Pre-heat oven - 200°C
  12. Grease and flour a clean mini muffin pan
  13. Spoon content of kCook bowl into mini muffin pan evenly
  14. Add flaked almonds to the mini muffin pan
  15. Bake until light golden - 15 min, 200°C
  16. Let cool onto cooling rack
  17. Serve
