Blanquette of veal is one of the great classics of French gastronomy. Tender pieces of veal and melting vegetables in a creamy sauce... How can you resist? This traditional stew, which evokes family Sunday meals, is easy to make and doesn't cost much. To serve with basmati rice, mashed potatoes, or some crispy sautéed potatoes.
