This is a traditional German biscuit like gingerbread. You can swap the icing topping for melted chocolate.

Line a clean baking tray with parchment paper
Attach the K-Beater
Add honey and butter to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
Heat with splashguard fitted - 4 min, 60°C, Stir 1
Then add plain flour, ground almonds, ground ginger, ground cloves, ground nutmeg, black pepper, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda to the Cooking Chef XL Bowl
Mix with splashguard fitted - 1 min, Speed Min
Transfer dough to medium bowl
Cover with kitchen towel and let cool
Pre-heat oven - 180°C
Transfer dough to work surface
Roll into balls
Flatten each ball to make a dome shape
Place dough balls on baking tray
Bake - 15 min, 180°C
Remove from oven and let cool
Add icing sugar, egg white and water to a clean small bowl
