Step preview

  1. Grease and line a clean pudding bowl with parchment paper
  2. Attach Creaming beater
  3. Add butter, golden syrup and muscovado sugar to the EasyWarm Bowl
  4. Heat with splashguard fitted until sugar has dissolved - 10 min, 7, Stir 1
  5. Then add milk, egg, cocoa powder, plain flour, ground cinnamon, baking powder and bicarbonate of soda to the EasyWarm Bowl
  6. Mix with splashguard fitted until combined - 1 min, Speed Min
  7. Pour mixture into pudding bowl
  8. Line a clean work surface with foil
  9. Top with parchment paper
  10. Fold a seam in the middle
  11. Place over the pudding bowl, foil side up
  12. Tie a piece of string around the bowl
  13. Transfer pudding bowl to large saucepan
  14. Pour water into the large saucepan
  15. Heat until simmering - medium-high heat
  16. Cover the saucepan with a lid
  17. Steam - 1 hr 15 min, medium-high heat
  18. Clean EasyWarm Bowl
  19. Attach Creaming beater
  20. Add dark chocolate, butter, golden syrup and whipping cream to the EasyWarm Bowl
  21. Heat with splashguard fitted until melted - 10 min, 7, Stir 1
  22. Remove the string and foil from the pudding
  23. Invert the sponge pudding onto a serving plate, remove the pudding bowl
  24. Pour the warm chocolate sauce over the top of the pudding
  25. Serve
