A simple granola recipe to enjoy for breakfast or as a topping. Once made it can be stored in an airtight container to keep it for a long time. User generated recipes have not been re-tested by Kenwood.

Step preview

  1. Preheat an oven to 160ºC
  2. Add nuts onto a large baking tray
  3. Roast - 15 minutes, 160ºC
  4. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly
  5. Reduce the oven temperature - 150ºC
  6. Fit the blade to the Food Processor attachment
  7. Transfer the nuts into the attachment
  8. Pulse until coarsely chopped
  9. Remove the attachment from the machine and set aside
  10. Fit the Stir Tool
  11. Add the ingredients into the appliance bowl, fit the splashguard
  12. Heat until melted - 2 minutes, 100ºC, speed Stir 1
  13. Remove the Stir Tool and fit the K-Beater
  14. Transfer the chopped nuts then add the next ingredients
  15. Mix until combined - 1 minute, speed 3
  16. Line a baking tray with parchment paper
  17. Transfer the granola mixture onto the tray and spread evenly
  18. Bake - 25 minutes, 150ºC
  19. Remove from the oven
  20. Then add chocolate
  21. Mix until melted and then let cool completely
  22. Break up into small pieces and store in an airtight container
  23. Serve
