Step preview

  1. Add the ingredients to a saucepan and mix until smooth
  2. Heat until thickened - medium heat
  3. Set aside and let cool completely
  4. Add the ingredients to a medium sized bowl
  5. Mix until smooth and then let rest at room temperature - 1 hour
  6. Attach the Dough Tool
  7. Lift the Cooking Chef head and fit the heat shield
  8. Add the dough from the saucepan and the bowl into the appliance bowl
  9. Add the rest of ingredients and fit the splashguard
  10. Knead until the dough is elastic - 10 min, Speed 1
  11. Remove the Dough Tool
  12. Prove until doubled in size - 1 hour 30 min, 30°C, Speed OFF
  13. Place the dough on a lightly floured work surface
  14. Flatten the dough by hand and then roll it into a log
  15. Cut the log into four equal pieces
  16. Turn each piece 90° and place them into the loaf pan
  17. Prove - 1 hour
  18. Pre-heat the oven - 230°C
  19. Bake - 10 min, 230°C
  20. Then reduce the temperature to 200°C
  21. Bake - 20 min, 200°C
  22. Turn out onto a cooling rack and let cool completely
  23. Serve
