Step preview

  1. First, make the cake
  2. Preheat the oven - 180ºC
  3. Grease the tin and line with parchment paper overlapping the edges
  4. Sift the ingredients into a large bowl
  5. Fit the Whisk Tool
  6. Add the following ingredients and the flour mixture into the appliance bowl
  7. Mix – 3 minutes, speed 3
  8. Transfer the batter into the tin
  9. Bake until a skewer inserted comes out clean – 25-30 minutes, 180ºC
  10. Remove from the oven and let cool in the tin – 20 minutes
  11. Then lift the overhanging baking paper and let the cake cool completely on a wire rack
  12. Now, make the frosting
  13. Clean the appliance bowl and fit the Whisk Tool
  14. Add butter into the appliance bowl
  15. Mix – 3 minutes, speed Max
  16. Add the next ingredients
  17. Mix – 5 minutes, speed Max
  18. Then add the following ingredients
  19. Mix – 5 minutes, speed Max
  20. Add the melted chocolate
  21. Mix – 2 minutes, speed Max
  22. Spread the frosting evenly over the cake
  23. Decorate with rainbow sprinkles
  24. Serve
